Always a great experience! I love this place!

We love the food, but we just had a horrible experience! We called at 6:45 to place an order to go, whoever answered the phone asked if I could please hold a minute, I said sure. They put the phone down and never came back. 10 minutes went by and I finally hung up. We tried to call back 20 minutes later and the phone was busy. I just tried calling again, an hour later, and it was still busy! I'm sure the phone is still just sitting there off the hook. Guess they decided they didn't want to take any orders over the phone tonight. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Disappointing.... We were really looking forward to it for dinner.

The buffet is a must for anyone who likes Mexican food

Lunch buffet is always good. I've yet to try a dinner I didn't like. Tamales will always be my favorite though.

One of the better casual and authentic Mexican restaurants around.

This neighborhood place has above average food at a fair price. My test for a Mexican restaurant is their beans and El Mariachi delivers. Service seems to be as good as you make it, as in "Get up and walk over to the counter "

We had El Mariachi cater our daughters wedding. To the point they were paid to stay and serve. They left early and took the food we paid for with them. To us that is stealing of the food WE paid for. Personally I've had MUCH better food. I'm sure they will not miss our business.

The food is so amazing, however, the service sucks.

We come here often for years I tell you and the staff always is friendly, the atmosphere is clean and pleasant, the food always good and never a long wait.

Not very good at all. I had tacos and enchiladas. The "soft" shell corn tacos are tough, like thin leather. The ground beef and the tortillas tasted like old grease. We had a nice waitress though!

I just discovered this place. This is my kinda Mexican restaurant! I had the combination plate so I could try different things. All delicious, but next time... I'm getting Carnitas!

We got in late and found this little gem. Tried the combo plate and was not disappointed, it was great! Everything was consumed quickly! Love the salsa squirt bottle too!

Normally, it's pretty good, but this was an off day. The waitress took longer than usual to wait on us and never brought us a basket of tortilla chips until we asked for them. Then she took her time getting them to us. My lunch menu food was cold when she finally brought that to us too! 3 others with me at the table, their food wasn't warm either.

Eat taco bar every Friday! Food is great and staff are wonderful!

I was surprised. It's larger than I thought. Excellent avacodo tacos. The coffee was very good. Brisk business for the lunch taco bar. Serves margaritas and beer.

This place used to be amazing, I'd come here all the time, tacos were always good, service was always nice. But tonight was probably the worst experience with this place, made an order over phone, two orders of steak tacos I asked no onion and then an order of chips and beans. I picked up order went home to find both orders covered in onion, my significant other called and the guy working tried to argue over phone, I went to go pick up the corrected order and the guy started arguing with me about what I ordered when I specifically asked no onions first. I was half tempted to ask for money back and find different place if it wasn't so late..I feel bad for anyone who has to make two trips and feel like it's their fault when it was the person taking order that can't listen to details..

They have the best Mexican food in the whole Quad Cities. The service is GREAT

Food was great! Mixed drinks were a little on the weaker side (i had a piña colada & bf had captain/coke) will absolutely be back. Cant wait to check out the buffets.

I love this place there is a guy there that knows what I want as soon as I say burrito. Sometimes there is a language barrier but they still try their hardest to get it correct. The staff is friendly and helpful.
